Publication ‘si tu’ will be presented in Montreal and New York

si tu is a beautiful volume of improvisatory open field poetry by Angela Rawlings, written in response to a durational dance performance Variations on Sensitive choreographed by Marjana Krajač, which took place at the symposium Poiesis.

Publications Poiesis & si tu will be presented on October 17, 2017, at Centre for Expanded Poetics at Concordia University in Montreal and on October 20, 2017, at Organism for Poetic Research at New York University. Collaboratively published by the Centre for Expanded Poetics (Concordia University, Montreal) and Multimedia Institute (Zagreb), Poiesis collects the proceedings of an international symposium that took place in June 2015 in Zagreb.

The book launch will be accompanied with a talk by the director of the Centre for Expanded Poetics, Nathan Brown, titled Ten Theses on Poetics, a talk by author & researcher Julie Beth Napolin titled On Banishing Socrates’ Wife and a sonic response by Rebecca Bruton titled first, like cherries.
